I’m (Mentally)Waving My Arms as I Write This.

Please stop climbing all over Bernie for speaking loudly and waving his arms He’s Jewish, FFS, it’s what we DO. I am sick and tired of everyone having to act like a tightassed WASP all the time. It’s like being stuck in a perpetual episode of Father Knows Best. It’s high time for some new images of what power and authority can look like. I can’t effin’ wait til we are a majority minority country, but we can start acting like it NOW. Let’s have MORE Angry Black Women, Empowered, Unabashed Muslimas and Latinas who strike back when that’s what the situation calls for, and yes, Grumpy Old Jews. (Other maligned stereotypes also welcome. Castrating Bitches and Impetuous Youth, COME ON DOWN!)

Everyone should be angry at what is has been going on in the world and there is nothing wrong with showing it instead of walking around like a Stepford Wife pretending that everything is “normal” and can be fixed if we just put on our smiley faces and sit down over a beer with rabid nazis and their spineless enablers so we can find “Common Ground.” The only common ground they’re interested in is our mass graves. Time to raise our voices, wave our arms and tell the “moderate” sellouts to shove it up where that stick is lodged.

I’m a lifelong radical activist, intersectional in outlook since back in the day when we just expressed it as the idea that “everything is connected.” It is.
